adidas continues their tradition of being synonymous with hip-hop fashion at this year’s ComplexCon.

Starting off with Run DMC’s “My Adidas” – an ode to the shelltoe Superstar that eventually lead to a million-dollar endorsement deal – to current day collabs with artists such as Pharell, adidas history of great collabs continues.

As soon as you entered the marketplace you could see the stacked crates that made up the booth towering over the back area, which makes complete sense that a brand steeped in the history of hip-hop take over such a large section. Sneaker drops from N.E.R.D (where a literal crate dropped signaling the launch) and Pusha T, who personally handed out his newest shoes from his ‘King Push Bodega Babies’ line from behind a mock bodega counter along with specialty branded bodega merch, kept sneakerheads lining up around the booth all weekend.

ComplexCon is a leading cultural moment for the streetwear and sneaker industry, and it’s the perfect platform for adidas to release some of our most exclusive products directly to some of the biggest fans of the brand. Adding our roster of creative partners to the weekend’s line up led to an unforgettable experience that only adidas can deliver.”
