Founded by Prathan Poopat and Flavio Girolami in 2004, the New York-based footwear line has amassed a cult following that appreciated the line’s sleek minimalist designs and use of high quality materials. Combining their love for classic American sneaker design with a passion for Italian shoemaking traditions, Common Projects footwear is at once imminently classy and definitely cool. Fans of the label run the gamut—Drake has been seen sporting a pair—but whomever dons a pair is undoubtedly left looking, well, well-heeled. Standouts for the season include their Achilles high top, notably in the ruby red leather version. Lest you feel such color options are a tad bold for your liking, the line’s suede Chelsea boot with crepe sole will happily let you get your kicks, however more mutedly.
