An Ode To Montauk

On the rugged coastline of Napeague Bay is a small cabin with a vibrant past.  The Little House, as it is lovingly called, is a fisherman’s cabin from the first settlement in Montauk Village, near the easternmost tip of Long Island.

Currently part of the estate of Victor and Mabel D’Amico, the visionaries behind Montauk’s famous “The Art Barge”, and founding board members of Manhattan’s Museum of Modern Art, The Little House served as the D’Amico’s guest cottage from the 1940’s until 1999. The house played host to fishermen, artist, Broadway actors and brilliant minds over the years. This seemingly magical cabin and its surrounding land set the seen for the short video, A Montauk Suite.
